I searched around the forums for a while and couldn't find anything about this so I figured I'd ask.

I haven't really done much with the books so I'm curious, if I complete a Young Heroes of Tyria book, then wait until this weekend when we get double Kurzick/Luxon faction, will that get me 90k or double it to 180k?

I know it says:

Starting at Noon Pacific (-7 GMT) this Friday, you will receive double points for exchanging 1,000[sic] faction for Jadeite or Amber, for exchanging 3,000 faction for an alliance skill, and for transfering 5,000 faction to raise your alliance's reputation.

But I'm just curious if it applies to the books as well.

No i dont think the book will double
as the description says all points exchanged
but wiki says the points go directly to title they can't be spent
so you have to spend the points to get double

Short answer: no.

The books award points toward the allegiance title track, but the weekend event only doubles points from exchanging faction for specific, listed rewards.

I wish it gave double points for vanquishing too.
